Terms And Condition

  1. Membership Plans
    • Two plans available: KG Basic and KG Premium.
    • Premium includes access to all branches and added perks (classes, inbody test, HerSpace, referral).
    • Basic covers one selected branch (Toppen, Seelong or Dato’ Onn branch) only.
  2. Subscription Model
    • Monthly recurring subscription.
    • No contract, cancel anytime.
    • Payments are non-refundable once processed.
  3. Billing & Access
    • Payment must be successful to maintain access.
    • Failed payment triggers a 7-day grace period; after that, access is suspended and tier resets to Bronze.
    • All payments are final and non-refundable.
  4. Non-Refundable & Non-Transferable
    • Memberships cannot be transferred or refunded, regardless of usage, health, or relocation.
  5. Tier System
    • Tiers upgrade automatically based on continuous active months.
    • Payment failure or cancellation beyond 7 days resets progress to Bronze.
    • Freeze periods pause tier progress but do not reset it.
  6. Home Gym Policy
    • Members must select one home branch.
    • Pricing and tier tracking follow the home gym rules.
  7. Upgrade / Downgrade
    • Upgrading or downgrading resets tier to Bronze.
    • Premium perks end immediately upon downgrade.
    • Downgrade request must be done at least 7 days before the next billing date.
    • Upgrading may apply immediately upon Top-up.
  8. Freeze Policy
    • Free Freeze available to Silver tier and above.
    • One free freeze per year for one full billing cycle.
    • Additional freezes charged RM50 per billing cycle.
    • All freezes must start from the next billing cycle.
    • Requests must be submitted at least 7 working days before the next billing date.
  9. Cancellation Policy
    • All cancellations must be done in person at the kiosk in any branch before the next billing date.
    • Access remains active until the end of the paid period.
    • No refunds for unused time.
    • Rejoining starts from Bronze tier.
  10. Referral Program (Premium Only)
    • Available to active Premium members only.
    • Referral rewards are applied as monthly membership discounts once both referrer and referee remain active Premium members.
    • Reward Breakdown:
      • 1 active referee = 20% off monthly fee
      • 2 active referees = 50% off monthly fee
      • 3 active referees = 100% off (free month)
    • Referral reward starts from the 2nd billing cycle of the referee’s membership.
    • Both referrer and referee must remain active Premium members for the discount to stay valid.
    • If a referee cancels or downgrades, the discount will automatically stop the following month.
    • Misuse, fake accounts, or inactive referrals will result in removal of rewards and may lead to account suspension.
    • Kampung Gym reserves the right to revise or modify the referral rates, rules, and reward structure without prior notice.
  11. Facility Access & Rules
    • Entry via app QR or facial recognition.
    • Proper sportswear required; no slippers or casual wear.
    • No outside food or open beverages.
    • Kampung Gym not responsible for lost or damaged belongings.
    • Members must use equipment responsibly and according to posted guidelines.
    • Misuse, intentional damage, or reckless behavior may result in:
      • Immediate suspension
      • Repair cost charges
      • Termination without refund
  12. Unauthorized Personal Training & Coaching (Strictly Prohibited)
    • Personal training, coaching, instruction, or fitness guidance by non–Kampung Gym trainers is strictly prohibited within Kampung Gym premises.
    • This includes:
      • Freelance personal trainers
      • Paid or unpaid coaching, programming, cueing, or supervision
      • Repeated instruction or guidance that reasonably resembles personal training services
    • Any member found engaging in or facilitating unauthorized personal training will result in immediate termination of membership without refund.
    • Kampung Gym reserves the absolute right, at its sole and reasonable discretion, to suspend or terminate any membership where Kampung Gym suspects that a member is engaging in, facilitating, or benefiting from unauthorized personal training, even if conclusive proof is not available.
    • Such determination may be based on, but is not limited to:
      • Observed behavior or repeated patterns
      • Reports from staff or members
      • CCTV footage or access records
      • Training conduct inconsistent with general member usage
    • Termination under this clause:
      • May be immediate
      • Requires no prior warning
      • Is final and non-appealable
      • Shall not entitle the member to any refund, credit, or compensation
    • Kampung Gym reserves the right to permanently blacklist offenders from all branches.
  13. Solicitation & Commercial Activity
    • No selling, promoting, recruiting, or soliciting of any products or services is allowed inside Kampung Gym without written approval.
    • This includes supplements, programs, online coaching, external gyms, or fitness-related services.
    • Violations may result in termination without refund.
  14. Noise, Filming & Content Creation
    • Excessive noise, dropping weights excessively, or disruptive behavior is prohibited.
    • Filming or photography for commercial, coaching, or promotional use requires prior approval.
    • Kampung Gym may request deletion of any unauthorized content.
  15. Membership Sharing & Access Abuse
    • Membership access is strictly personal and non-transferable.
    • Sharing QR codes, facial recognition access, or allowing others to enter using one’s account is considered fraud.
    • Proven abuse will result in:
      • Immediate termination
      • Permanent ban
      • No refund under any circumstances
  16. Right to Refuse Entry
    • Kampung Gym reserves the right to deny entry or remove any member who:
      • Appears intoxicated or under influence of substances
      • Is aggressive, disruptive, or unsafe
      • Violates dress code, hygiene, or facility rules
    • No compensation or refund shall be provided in such cases.
  17. Health & Safety
    • Members must be medically fit to train.
    • Medical conditions must be declared prior to use.
    • Kampung Gym is not liable for any injury arising from exercise or misuse of equipment.
  18. Data Privacy
    • Member data is protected under PDPA Malaysia.
    • CCTV and face recognition systems are used for safety and access control.
  19. Surveillance & Evidence Use
    • CCTV and access logs may be used as evidence in investigations of rule violations.
    • Kampung Gym’s determination based on such evidence shall be final and binding.
  20. Amendments
    • Kampung Gym may revise prices or terms with at least 7 days’ notice via app or notice boards.
    • Continued usage after updates means acceptance of the revised terms.
  21. Termination Without Warning
    • Kampung Gym reserves the absolute right to terminate membership immediately, without prior notice, for serious violations including but not limited to:
      • Unauthorized personal training
      • Access sharing
      • Harassment or threats
      • Fraud or false information
    • No refunds, credits, or reinstatements will be provided.
  22. Force Majeure & Operational Control
    • Kampung Gym shall not be liable for service disruption due to:
      • Maintenance
      • Power outages
      • Government directives
      • System upgrades
      • Emergencies or force majeure events
    • No refunds or extensions are guaranteed unless explicitly approved.
  23. General Rules
    • Misuse, false information, or rule violations may lead to suspension or termination.
    • Terminated memberships are not eligible for refund or reinstatement.
