Assistant Marketing Manager

We’re looking for a creative marketing powerhouse to own the full content and ads execution across all 4 branches. This is not a desk-only role, you’ll be on the floor filming, behind the laptop editing, and in the dashboard analyzing performance. You won’t just execute, you’ll strategize. From building the marketing direction for each branch, to ideating content concepts, to deciding how we show up across Meta, TikTok, and 小红书 , you’ll be the one calling the creative shots.

What You’ll Do

Marketing Strategy & Creative Direction & Reporting (30%)

  • Develop overall marketing strategy across all 4 branches
  • Run monthly content + ads strategy planning
  • Lead creative concept development for monthly campaigns
  • Translate business goals into bold, scroll-stopping content ideas
  • Analyze performance reports (Meta, TikTok, lead conversion data)
  • Present insights and recommendations to management

Content Creation (40%)

  • Plan, shoot, and edit short-form videos for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and 小红书
  • Capture branch events, member transformations, trainer features, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Produce static graphics and photo content using our brand kit
  • Manage content calendar across English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin

Paid Ads Management (20%)

  • Plan and execute Meta Ads (Facebook + Instagram) and TikTok Ads campaigns
  • Build audiences, write ad copy, manage budgets across 4 branches
  • A/B test creatives and optimize for lead quality and CPL targets

Coordination (10%)

  • Work with club leads, PT leads, and front desk team for content shoots
  • Coordinate with external photographers/videographers when needed

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have:

  • 2–3 years of experience in marketing, content creation, or social media management
  • Highly creative thinker– Ability to plan and lead an entire marketing strategy from concept to execution, not just take orders
  • Trilingual: Mandarin + English + Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is essential, required for 小红书 content and Chinese-speaking members)
  • Proven shooting + editing skills (CapCut, Premiere Pro, or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with Meta Ads Manager and TikTok Ads Manager
  • Comfortable analyzing performance reports and presenting data
  • Strong design sensibility (Canva, Photoshop, or Figma)
  • Own transport (will travel between 4 branches)
  • Self-disciplined and reliable working remotely

Nice-to-Have:

  • Fitness or lifestyle industry experience
  • Familiar with 小红书 platform mechanics
  • Personal social media presence or portfolio

Compensation

  • Base salary: RM 4,000 – RM 5,000 (based on experience)
  • Performance bonus: Up to RM 1,500/month based on KPI achievement
  • 60% team performance (lead generation, CPL, revenue)
  • 40% personal performance (content output, ad performance, project execution)
  • EPF, SOCSO, EIS as per Malaysian labor law
