HR Executive cum Admin
We are looking for a people-centric, organized, and proactive HR Executive cum admin to manage our growing team. As we expand to new locations, your mission is to ensure we hire the best talent, maintain high morale, and stay 100% compliant with Malaysian Labor Laws. You are the bridge between management’s vision and the team’s execution.
Responsibilities:
- Active Talent Acquisition: Don’t just wait for resumes. Actively headhunt for high-energy trainers and staff who fit the “Kampung Gym” DNA.
- Culture & Onboarding: Design an onboarding experience that makes new hires feel like family from Day 1. You are the protector of the company’s vibes and values.
- Performance Tracking: Work with the Director to set KPIs. Conduct regular “Check-ins” to ensure staff are motivated and performing, rather than waiting for an annual review.
- Conflict Resolution & Counseling: Act as the first point of contact for staff grievances. Build strong emotional connection with the team so you can spot problems before they lead to resignations.
- Payroll & Compliance Excellence: Manage monthly payroll, EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB (LHDN) with zero errors. Ensure all employment contracts and handbooks are updated according to the latest Malaysian Employment Act.
- Staff Wellness & Engagement: Organize meaningful team-building activities and health initiatives that reflect our brand’s mission.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of hands-on experience in Human Resources.
- Proficiency in Malaysian Labor Law (Employment Act) and familiarity with payroll software or EPF/SOCSO/LHDN portals.
- Able to work independently and meet monthly reporting deadlines
- High EQ & People Skills: You must be approachable but firm. You need the ability to handle “difficult conversations” professionally.
- Extreme Organization: Able to manage sensitive employee data, payroll deadlines, and recruitment pipelines simultaneously.
- Fluent in English and Malay. Mandarin is a strong plus for communicating with a wider range of candidates and vendors.
- Proactive Attitude: You don’t just report a high turnover rate; you bring a plan to fix it.
